A few pointers for cycling in a group:
- Move up on the right and back on the left.
- No sudden braking
- No weaving left or right.
- Relay the calls for obstacles eg. Potholes, stones etc.
- Call out for vehicles – shout “car up!” & “car back!”
Recommendations:
- Helmets are mandatory.
- Always bring food – energy bars, fig rolls etc.
- Bring plenty of drink to keep hydrated.
- Carry spare tubes, tyre levers & pump.
