Race Report Covey League 2015 – Round 4 – Group 2

Group 2 was a little unusual for round 5 due to the fact only 3 riders lined out. Joe OTol Eoin Car and myself. I knew I would definitely score pts but not sure how many. An honest group so we rolled around at a fairly good pace. No-one tried any breaks so we were all together heading towards the line. Eoin was 1st to break and I got his wheel. With about 50mtrs to go I made my jump for the line just pipping Eoin. Really enjoyed the race a happy to bags top pts.
After a small break we started for Coilleach with Keith &Padraic now joining us. The pace was steady as we were feeling sorry 4 Keith. Again no breaks and still all together heading for the summit. Eoin again was looking stong so I hung in until we crested the 2nd last bend. I jumped and got away for the win. Delighted to bag all pts in my group and enjoyed the banter
