Attention all with a hunger for Turkey!! Westport CCs annual Rás na Turcaí will take place on Stephens Day Tuesday 26th December. Provisional start time is 12:00 at the skate park for a leisurely warm up spin out to Louisburgh before feathers start to fly with a short race for part of the spin back in, to finish in the usual spot at O Gradys on the West rd. All age groups/categories catered for on the day. Must be a Westport CC member. Please wear a Santa hat over your helmet if you have one

– Meet at the Skate park for 12 noon
– Group ride easy to Louisburg departing by 12:15
– Regroup at Church in Louisburg and divide into groups
– Fun race back to O’Grady’s Hill
– Regroup at the Towers Bar at 3pm for Prize-giving and more importantly Mulled Wine, Pies, Soup & Sandwiches (plenty time to go home for a shower first)
– 3 Marshals required – who get first dips on the mulled wine!
