Western Covey League Kicks-Off

The Western Covey League kicks off this coming Wednesday evening 5th April.

As per last year we will be having 3 rounds all based out of Partry.

The first round will start at 6.45pm race from Partry on Westport road.

Generous handicaps will be given to encourage groups to race together and hold off the scratch group. Price is €15 for all 3 or €5 per race. Please bring the correct change 😁

The race is open to any rider with a limited competition license or above. Its is a great chance for people new to racing to experience it for the first time in a really good loop which will be fully marshaled.

Registration is from 5.45pm @ Partry soccer club

The distance is 37.5km in total. This will be made up of 4.5 laps of the Shrah/Tourmakeady Course.

The race will finish at the school.

Westport CC will be responsible for registration on all 3 nights and for the finish line and recording the results.

We ask that people make themselves available to do these roles and you will be awarded 10 points if you give up your time.
