Western Covey League Round 1

The newly revamped Western Covey League kicks off this coming Wednesday evening….
Last year’s overall winner Keith Hastings claimed the prize on the final night when the Covies worked hard to keep him in the mix allowing him to sprint to 2nd place to take the title overall. He accumulated points in 2 of the 3 races to take the win.

After last years dip we are looking to rejuvenate this league by simply having a 3 race league, one in Srah on neutral ground! One in Ballinrobe and one in Westport.

Generous handicaps will be given to encourage groups to race together and hold off the scratch group. Price is €15 for all 3 or €5 per race. Please bring the correct change 😁

The league will consist of 3 handicap races:
Wed 11th May
Wed 1st June
Wed 6th July

Date: Wednesday May 11th
Sign On: Srah School 6:30-7:00
Distance: 5 * 8k laps of Srah (40k total)
Race Start: 7:15pm sharp
