By Michael Needham:

A lovely evening blew up for round 2 of the covey league, the first race after the TT. All the usual faces being present on the nite with lots of new faces too, the race had to be changed due to road works from the Srah route to Louisburgh 40k route, my home road!!

After a few surprises when the groups were made we got down to the action, fast to Louisburgh with a strong tail wind, no real attacks of note with everyone doing good turn up front it was clear it would be a hilltop sprint finish on return to Westport, Keith was first to make shapes for sprint, I took it on at the 200m to go road mark and kept the head down for the win.
Good nights racing well done to all racing and Marshall’s.
