Maloney takes Sligo U14 MTB Race
Round 2 of the Spring MTB League was held in Sligo on Sunday 23/02/2014

It was another fantastic day mountain biking in Union Woods in Sligo last Sunday.
The Westport Covey’s were represented by Noel Kelly with family, Reg Cowey, Declan and myself Dannny Maloney.The course itself was one of the most demanding courses in Connacht.
The overall results were as follows:
Declan Maloney – 1st in under 14’s and 3rd in the under 16’s (just behind two very strong mountain bikers)
Danny Maloney – I myself rode in the expert group, but had to finish the last lap with a flat tyre and placed 3rd.
If there are any riders wanting to test their skills and abilities then this is the course for you.
Editors Note: Good news Danny…it would seem from here that you actually placed 2nd!
