Mayo League 2013

A new format to this year which contains an Individual Time Trial, 6 handicapped Road Races, Hill Climb and a Team Time Trial.

Round 1 – 17km Individual Time Trial in Westport.

Sign on at The Skate Park on the Louisburgh Road from 5pm.

Entry Fee: 50euro for the League or 10euro per race. 9 races in total.
Route: Start/finish at Horkans Garden centre on West Road. Out and back course of 17km turning 200m past the entrance into the car park at the Reek.
Caution:The carriage way is wide but there will be traffic so cyclists are urged to stay to the left hand side road and to use the cycle path on the return leg. Beware as there are upright reflection bollards separating the cycle path and the main road.

Start at 6.00pm sharp due to daylight restrictions, riders every 30seconds.
Changing facilities and showers available in Westport Leisure Park. Refreshments and results in T.Bourkes on the Castlebar Road after the race.
