Westport Covey Wheelers League – Time Trial 1 Results
55 Cyclists took part in this mornings Time Trial. Ollie Whyte demolished the field with a time of 25:20 over 17k with 14 seconds back to Noel Mulroy in 2nd with only a further 3 seconds back to James McGreevy in 3rd.
Compared to the Time Trial times set this time last year (even including the 2nd TT), there has been a huge improvement in peoples times overall.
A large female contingent showed promising signs for the season ahead. While all the work being done by Tony Walsh beginning to come to fruition with record times being posted by the underage riders.
Bradley Walsh also joined in as our new club paracyclist on his new bike.
Well done to all who took part and a special thanks to all who helped out on the day.
