TriBikes Loughrea GP 2013 – March 10th

Sign on:
Gate Lodge Pub, Carrabane (see directions below). Sign on for senior races closes at 13.00. Racing starts at 13.30. Sign on and the start/finish area are all at the same location.

Directions:
Leave the motorway for Loughrea at Exit 16 and proceed (N65) to the first roundabout. Take the fourth exit (N6), signposted Craughwell. Continue to the next roundabout and take the third exit (R349) signposted Athenry. Continue straight on for about 4km to the village of Carrabane. Sign on at the Gate Lodge pub. Parking is available behind the pub.
Note about approaching from Athenry/Kiltullagh. There are youth races on the same race circuit during the morning. Please heed the marshalls and proceed in the same direction as the race. It won’t add more than a few minutes to your journey and will make it safer for everyone on the circuit.

Route and elevation:
The route for all races follows the same 17.2km left-handed lap. The surface is generally fine and there are no climbs to speak of, although much of the last kilometer of the lap is an uphill drag before it drops slightly to the finish line.

A4s complete 3 laps for 51 km. A1, A2, A3 complete 6 laps (102km).
