McNally Cup Club Championship Race 2012
The McNally Cup Club Championship Race 2012 will be held on Sunday the 9th of September.
If you wish to take part in the McNally Cup Club Championship Race 2012, please email WestportCC@gmail.com. We need everyone to register before the event, so riders can be divided into their groups.
The race will be a handicapped race with similiar groups to the Covey Club League. The route will be Westport – Louisburgh – Doolough – Aisleigh Falls – Liscarney – Westport. 70-75k approx
The race will be open to all club members who have a Club Competition license or higher.
Entry Fee will be 10 euro.
Sign will be from 8:30AM to 9:30AM.
Anyone arriving to sign on after 9:30 will not be facilitated.
Race to start at 10AM Sharp.
Every rider must wear a number pinned to the back of their jersey, this number must not be covered by a rain jacket or clothing. Numbers will be needed to assign prizes for each category, and in the case of a photo finish, the number will count.
The Overall winner will be the Club Champion for 2012 and receive the McNally Cup. The current Club Champion is Joe Browne.
Afterwards showers will be arranged for the Leisure Centre with refreshments and presentation of prizes in T.Bourkes.
Prizes for the following categories:
1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall.
1st in Group 1,2,3 & 4 outside the top 3.
1st Junior/Underage
1st Lady
KOH prize at climb after Delphi
Sprint prize outside Darbys in Cushlough
