Ras Mhaigh Eo, 2 Day Stage Race

All roads lead to Westport on the 26 th and 27 th of March!

Stage racing is back after almost 2 years of absents due to COVID19, in the form of Ras
Mhaigh Eo, one of the most popular events on the race calendar.

This year the best A1, A2, A3 and Lady riders take to the familiar and scenic roads of Mayo
and dip into Galway for a look at our close neighbour. The routes as always starts and
finishes on the roads of Westport and take in Louisburgh, Delphi, Leenaun, Tourmakeady ,
Letterfrack and Maamtrasna to name but a few places. Saturday evening will see a short but
testing uphill TT where the race could be won or lost, throw in a few sprint primes and a
KOH or two and your in for some great racing.

Sunday will also see an A4 race over an 80km course which will see riders heading from
Westport to Louisburgh, Delphi and a detour through Aughower for a very fast finish on the
Ballinrobe road on the way into Westport.
