This years Ras Mhaigh Eo will, for the first time, be a 2 Day Stage Race over St.Patrick’s Weekend.
Riders will be contending for the 4 sponsored jerseys up for grabs:

Stage 1 – North of Westport – 88.5km Road race
Sprint 1 – Nevins Newfield Sprint
KOH 1 Mulranny
Sprint 2 – Sheridan Centra Sprint

Stage 2 A – Westport Credit Union Time Trial – 7.75km Individual Time Trial.
Stage 2 B – South of Westport – 88.1km Road Race
Sprint 3 – Corrib Oil Sprint
KOH 3 – Delphi
Sprint 4 – Mocha Beans Sprint
KOH – Aughagower
Classifications – In order of priority.
1. Castlecourt Hotel Yellow Jersey Overall – lowest overall time.
2. Bourke Waste Polka Dot Jersey – Highest score based on highest points 3,2,1 at each of the King of the Hill primes.
3. Mill Times Hotel Green Jersey – Highest score based on highest points 3,2,1 at each of the intermediate sprints.
4. Westport Smarter Travel White Jersey – Best Placed Junior on Overall time.
Riders can only win one classification. Next highest rider takes the Classification.
We will have prizes for the Top 6 on stage 1, Top 3 in the Time Trial and the Top 6 on the final stage.

STAGE 1 – 90km Road Race
SIGN ON LOCATION: Westport Leisure Park, James Street , Westport.

RACE START: 2pm, Roll out from Leisure Park at 1:50pm

STAGE 2A – 8km Time Trial
SIGN ON: No sign on, start times based on reverse of GC (GC times will be posted here Saturday Eve)
LOCATION: Skate Park, Westport. start location
RACE START: First rider off at 9:00am with riders off in 1 minute intervals.
MAP: Stage 2a
PARKING: Parking is restricted at the Skate Park, please be mindful not to impede traffic
NOTE: Riders should be there 10mins before time slot. No exceptions made for time slots missed.
STAGE 2B – 90km Road Race.
SIGN ON LOCATION: Westport Leisure Park, James Street , Westport.

PARKING: Please DO NOT park at the Leisure park, parking will be available on the Newport Road, across from the Maxol Garage.
PRESENTATION: Presentation and prize giving along with some refreshments will be held in The Ashleigh Suite Of The Castlecourt Hotel on Castlebar street, Westport at 5pm after the final Stage on Sunday.
