Ras na Turcaí – St. Stephens Day Race

As stated previously, there will be no entry fee, but at sign on, there will be a bucket for donations, donation is not compulsory, but any money collected will be donated to a local charity.

Prizes
1st Place: 100 euro Hamper
2nd Place: 70 euro Hamper
3rd Place: 50 euro Hamper

There will also be spot prizes for the first place in every group and the first lady finisher.

[ORIGINAL STORY]
Ras na Turcaí – St. Stephens day race for all club members with a minimum of a club competition license.

Sign on at the Skate Park from 10.30am with race starting at 11am.

The route will be out to Louisburgh and back finishing at the top of the drag by Sean O’Gradys House. Approximately 40k.

This will be a mass start race with hampers & spot prizes for the various racing groups. No entry fee.
Presentation with tea, coffee, sandwiches and mince pies afterwards in T.Bourkes at 1pm.

Helmets are compulsory.

Every rider must wear a number pinned to the back of their jersey at every race, this number must not be covered by a rain jacket or clothing.

No tri bars allowed in the Road Races.

Obey the Marshalls.

The race will be held on open roads and all competitors must obey the rules of the road. No riders should cross the white line on the road.

Club Social – On Friday 28th December we hope to have a night out on the town! Meeting in T.Bourkes for 9.30pm and venturing upto Petie Joes and C2’s later on!!
