After 4 rounds of the Mayo cycling league Swinford man Kevin Roache has now scored more points in the 4 races to date than the other 87 starters, he wears the Marrey Bikes sponsored yellow jersey of league leader.
At round 4 all the strong men of Mayo cycling used their combined strength to reel in the 9minute handicap and set up a bunch finish on the Ballyvary road outside of Castlebar, Michael Brady of Westport proved strongest in the Sprint winning from Castlebar duo of David Brennan and Ciaran Clarke.

With 4 rounds to go the league is wide open with anyone in the top 20 having a chance of taking the overall title.

Round 5 of the Mayo cycling league takes place in Swinford.
On Wednesday the 2nd of May, sign on from 6.30pm at amenity park beside Tesco. Race start at 7.15pm sharp, Handicap and groups will be revised to suit after round 4.
