Training race this Sunday, between WLCC and Covey Westport, see route and format, its a series of efforts.
The aim is to break groups up into teams of 4 and they plot out tactics to stay away or be first to the line.
Club racers will get a small handicap on the Open racers so as to make it interesting…
This Sunday the 19th of Feb, WLCC and Covey Westport will plan a joint training race amongst ourselves. The aim is to simulate 5 short race intervals.
Meet at the Clock at 8.50am, cycle down to meet Ballinrobe gang, race back to Race course neutralize through down, race out to Clonbur, neutralize to Cornamona, Race to Maam, then race the hills up Lough Na fooey, Maam Trasna, Maire lukes. Then race to Tourmakeady, neutralize for mile then race to Clonee then pedal back to Ballinrobe, Westport gang back to Westport.
Club racers and open racers must have cycling Ireland licence to take part …???
