A good turnout of 44 cyclists ignored the windy conditions in round two of the league,
the 5 groups did not stay together and by Murrisk only two groups were intact, the scrach group worked well but did not make up the ground on the first two groups and it was out of these groups the winners emerged.

Damien Gannon broke from group one and stayed away until he was caught by Shane Mulchrone just a mile from the finish and Shane went on to win in 1hr 20mins, Damien Gannon second 24 sec later and Pat Joe O’Connell in third.
